Srsly.

Now I can go back and just tag things that need tagging--50books, cooking, etc.

I had too many before.

That is all.

Not as much as an idiot as I had thought.

better than.
Ha! I was writing down stuff I had read since I started working at my new job (new library system=new book collection), and just on the stuff I remember it's already numbered 50. (And I can tell you plot points about each, too.)

Obviously, since I started last August, it took me less than a year. And also--this isn't all the books. Just the ones I remember. LOL.

The next 50 books. )

duh!
I've been back editing some old posts and managed to kill off most of my 50 books 'list'--the reviews are still there, but it's not numbered. Here's the list, but around number 26 or so, the actual order isn't guaranteed.

50 books for 08. )

How I Spell H-O-T-T.

lol
I've decided to do a feature, when I feel like it, about 'how I spell hot'--i.e., hot guys, and why I like them. I'll be brief, but the point is it's silly. And silly is something we could all use, yeah?

For the most part, growing up? It doesn't suck. People listen more, and more respect is given.

Wow. I had no idea I had neglected my journal so much. Sorry to anyone who cares. *sheepish*

I just really felt the need to say some things, none of which are political, so never fear! (Does anyone else really, really want to say, 'Underdog is here!' at the end of 'Never fear!'?)

Eta did this, and I was fascinated. Here:

Your result for Reincarnation Placement Exam...

Reclusive Artist

58% Intrigue, 68% Civilization, 30% Humanity, 34% Urbanization.

We think we've found a place for you.

Your answers indicate that you're very fond of the fruits of civilization... for example, education and technology. But, in some twist of irony, you're not too fond of the pressures of civilization... you know, human beings and crowds and working together. We found you a place where you could enjoy an erudite existence, live a life that's intriguing and not entirely secure -- but far from the madding crowd.

Removed from civilization and humanity, yet educated and sophisticated, you'll make the perfect reclusive artist... An eccentric that produces irresistibly attractive masterpieces. Your art will make people swoon, and yet you will despise your audience. Your audience will probably dislike you as well, though they will go on admiring your work. So it all balances out, and your patrons will leave you alone to shape beauty in the wild, dangerous parts of the world where people won't pester you so much. Probably, you will write under a pseudonym, and mutter a lot when a rare admirer comes calling. If you feel really adventurous, you can pursue the role of a political dissident.

As you age, you will grow into the role of an incorrigible curmudgeon.

You artists, you're all the same.
